EVA Web Adhesive
9070
Description
Spiderbond 6080 web adhesive is a nonwoven form hot melt adhesive produced based on EVA. Web adhesives handle like a fabric facilitating both intermittent and continuous processes. This TPU web is available in a range of basis weights from 6 grams to 60 grams per square meter.
6080 web adhesive is based upon high performance thermoplastic polyurethane polymer. This product supports low application temperature, bond to a wide variety of textiles, foams, paper, leather, polymer materials, etc.
Advantages
Web pattern produces porous bonds.
VOC free adhesive in easy handle web form.
Strong bonding strength and low application temperature.
Material properties:
Property | Detail or Method | Specification |
Appearance | Bye eye | White web |
Base | EVA | |
Basis Weight Range | g/m² | 6-60, tolerance ±10% |
Width | cm | Max 155, tolerance 0-20mm |
Melting Range | DSC, °C | 55-75 |
Melt Flow Index | 160°C/2.16kg, GB/T 3682-2000 | 70-120 |
Density | 0.9-1.1 |
Packaging:
6080 web adhesives are sold in roll form, pack in carton.
For further packaging details please contact our salesperson.
Shelf Life:
6080 web adhesive should be shipped and stored at temperatures below 40°C. The shelf life of 6080 is one year under these conditions.
Directions for Using:
6080 web can be activated with any of the following techniques: electric fusing press, heated rolls, heated air, radiant heat, or steam press. Dry heat activation recommend above 60°C.
Reactivation time is dependent upon technique, temperature, pressure, substrates, and adhesive thickness, but would typically be in a pressure of 0.1~3MPa to the adherend, andmaintain the pressure for 10~20 seconds to complete the bonding.
Reference conditions: temperature 100°C, pressure 0.2MPa, time: 12 seconds.
The surface of the adherend should be as clean and dry as possible, free of solvents and grease. Lower adherent surface temperatures or ambient temperatures will cause early adhesive coagulation, reducing open time and even causing adhesive shedding. Preheat the adherend if necessary.
Health & Safety Precautions
The Safety Data Sheet should be consulted for proper handling, clean up and spill containment before use.
Keep containers covered to minimize contamination.
Our Service:
1. Samples send to you free of charge.
2. Delivery on time, quality according to customer request.
3. OEM, ODM is welcome.
4. Support small wholesale, retails, Any inquires will be replied within 24 hours.
