8100 web adhesive is based upon high performance co-polyamide polymer. This product support lower application temperature and offer great resistance to repeated home launderings and chemicals, it can bond to a wide variety of textiles, foams, paper, leather, metal, polymer materials, etc. 8100 be recommended to be used in textiles, electrical appliances, machinery, automobiles, civil engineering, furniture and other industries.
Advantages
Web pattern produces porous bonds.
VOC free adhesive in easy handle web form.
Strong bonding strength and good anti-washing performance.
Material properties:
Property | Detail or Method | Specification |
Appearance | Bye eye | White web |
Base | Co-polyamide | |
Basis Weight Range | g/m² | 6-100, tolerance ±10% |
Width | cm | Max 300, tolerance 0-10mm |
Melting range | DSC, ℃ | 90-105 |
Melt Flow Index | g/10min at 160℃ | 50-90 |
Density | 1.05-1.1 |
Packaging:
8100 web adhesives are sold in roll form, pack in carton.
For further packaging details please contact our salesperson.
Shelf Life:
8100 should be shipped and stored at temperatures below 50°C. The shelf life of 8100 is one year under these conditions.
Directions for Using:
8100 web can be activated with any of the following techniques: electric fusing press, heated rolls, heated air, radiant heat, or steam press. Dry heat activation recommend above 95°C.
Reactivation time is dependent upon technique, temperature, pressure, substrates, and adhesive thickness, but would typically be in a pressure of 1~3MPa to the adherend, andmaintain the pressure for 10~20 seconds to complete the bonding.
The surface of the adherend should be as clean and dry as possible, free of solvents and grease. Lower adherent surface temperatures or ambient temperatures will cause early adhesive coagulation, reducing open time and even causing adhesive shedding. Preheat the adherend if necessary.
Health & Safety Precautions
The Safety Data Sheet should be consulted for proper handling, clean up and spill containment before use.
Keep containers covered to minimize contamination.
Our Service:
1. Samples send to you free of charge.
2. Delivery on time, quality according to customer request.
